Born and raised in the beautiful Bluegrass Commonwealth of Kentucky, award‑winning author Michelle Bennington grew up on sweet tea, crawdad summers, and more books than any one person should reasonably try to possess.

 

In fact, her lifelong love of reading has blossomed into a mild hoarding situation and a TBR pile that could rival a giant oak tree.

When she’s not crafting contemporary or historical mysteries filled with charm, secrets, and suspicious deaths, Michelle is happily lost in her two great obsessions: all things British and all things historical.

 

Michelle still calls Kentucky home, where she lives with the best husband and her sidekick sweet Miss Maple.

 

In rare spare moments, she can be found elbows‑deep in arts and crafts, trying not to kill her plants, tackling DIY projects, traveling, and attending ghost and historical tours.
